Kent and all,
I have been investigating tactical/weapon lights of late and was wondering what your thoughts were for mounting and controlling a light on the AXR. From the pictures I have seen it appears mounting would work best to the small optional side rail, would the right thumb be able to reach a tailcap switch there, or will a remote tape switch be required? Just looking for some input from people with experience on the platform.
Thanks,
James |

That is the best spot for the light in my opinion. We ahve a rail setup due out in a week or so that will add three 2.2 inch rails around the barrel that you can hang on what you want, but I always thought the little rail on the side was enough for me. I will have some pics in a day or two.\

| Thanks Kent! I'll look forward to the pictures and the accessories as you release them. |

been available for awhile. here is a pic of what they look like.
.
Until we get the railed forend finished up this is the best place to mount a light. Only draw back is that you have to run a pressure switch down the the foregrip or to the "trigger guard" as some like to do to keep it tight for CQB. You could also get an extended rail and run an offset light mount, but I would much prefer the receiver mounted option. We are also working on some other items to help with your night time illumination needs, but it will probably be awhile before they are ready for the lime light.
